Meet Midwest Pool and Spa
Jason Hagenbaumer, general manager of Midwest Pool and Spa, Inc., at 2501 Broadway, encourages area residents to consider a pool this summer instead of a family vacation.
“Having a pool in your back yard isn't just for the wealthy homeowner,” he says. “For the price of a vacation or two, a family can have fun every day of the summer for 20 years or more. Purchasing a pool is a long-term investment in family fun.”
Founded in West Quincy, MO, in 1975 by brothers Ed and Ken Hagenbaumer, Midwest Pool and Spa initially focused on custom in-ground pools. Today, it is still a family business, but the company has shifted its focus to above-ground pools, spas, and the service taking care of the products. In 1998, they added indoor gaming equipment, including billiards, air hockey, foosball tables and darts for winter family fun. They also repair and maintain the products they sell.
