Small Business of the Month

Did you know that 75% of our membership is made up of Small Businesses with 20 employees or fewer?

The Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations from the community for the Small Business of the Month Award.  This award is given to the small business who fits the following criteria:

• Nominees must be a member of the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce.
• Nominees must be an active business located or operating in Adams County.
• Nominees Must be in business for at least 2 years.
• Nominees must have 20 employees or fewer.

In addition, nominees must have demonstrated one or more of the following characteristics:

• Community involvement
• Exceptional performance
• Great Customer Service
• Growth

Nominations must include a summary of why the nominee should be selected and recognized.  All nominations must be received by the last Monday of every month.  The Quincy Chamber of Commerce will then select the award winner from the submitted nominations and announce the winners on the first day of the following month. (All nominations will be kept for a period of one year).

*Small Businesses include For-Profit and Non-Profit Businesses.

“This is a great opportunity to honor small businesses for their service to our community,” stated Bruce Guthrie, President/CEO of the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce.  “We look forward to seeing the nominations for this year.”

The monthly winners will then be combined for the Small Business of the Year Award which will be announced at the 2025 Annual Meeting on January 15, 2025.
