Established in 1889, Sunset Home has an 11-acre campus at 418 Washington Street that offers 182 licensed beds for health care services in the main building. The Villa complex, located just across the street from the main building, offers 16 condo-type apartments. Cheerful Home has a long-standing tradition of excellence and caring in education in Quincy. Established in 1886, it is the oldest licensed child care facility in the state of Illinois and 15th oldest in the nation.
