By taking self-guided tours, guests learned a lot about the Library, including the fact there’s an Illinois Room with a newspaper archive dating back to 1835 and a wealth of information about the history of Quincy and state of Illinois; there is a library catalog app, there’s a bookstore that accepts donations of books, and you can check out fishing poles! Their eye care team consists of opthamologists, optometrists, and opticians and offers vision tests and glasses or contact lenses screenings for eye diseases, diagnosis, and treatment of most eye conditions.
