First Bankers Trust Co. Corporate Operations Center - January 8th, 2009 Photo Gallery
More than 200 guests packed the new Corporate Operations Center of First Bankers Trust Company for the Jan. 8 Business After Hours. In 2008, the Bank bought the property at 505 N. 24th, formerly the headquarters of Penn Daniels, a funeral home and a restaurant among others, to relocate all its "beind-the-scenes" personnel. First Bankers gutted the facility and renovated all three floors. Our thanks to President Art Greenbank, Marketing Director Maria Eckert and the entire staff for a wonderful kick-off to our 2009 Business After Hours program.
First Bankers Trust Company prizes were won by Paul Brown, Mike Fleetwood and Charlie Lugo. Liberty Tax Service, a new Chamber member, gave away two free tax preparations, which were won by Bill Stalder and Myra Kuhn, and Laura Hyde from the University of Illinois Extension was on hand to accept the Chamber's $25 cash prize.
Happy New Year!
