This week's Featured Member: Fish Window Cleaning

When Walt and Terry Wilcoxson decided to start their own business, they looked into a variety of franchise opportunities. They were surprised to find themselves considering a window cleaning business, but a strong business plan and good people behind the Fish Window Cleaning franchise were enough to convince the Wilcoxsons to give it a try.

Although Fish Window Cleaning opened in Quincy only eight years ago, the franchise got its start in 1978. Today, the franchise headquarters is located in St. Louis and the company has more than 220 franchise territories in 40 states. Despite their quick growth, the company and its franchisees have remained focused on making each customer feel as though they were the only customer, just as FISH founder Mike Merrick began doing in 1978.

“We take great care of our customers,” says Walt Wilcoxson. “Our employees are trained, uniformed professionals. They go the extra mile to take care of the properties we serve by doing things like wearing shoe covers inside homes and covering floors and nearby furnishings.”

Fish Window Cleaning provides commercial customers with reliable year-round service, customized scheduling, convenient billing options, and clean-ups for construction or emergency situations.  Residential cleanings are available for any size home. In addition to windows, Fish will also clean gutters, chandeliers, skylights, and more. Wilcoxson’s business serves most of the Tri-State area, from Hannibal to Kahoka in Missouri, Pittsfield to Macomb in Illinois, and as far as Keokuk in Iowa.

“We offer customized schedules for both commercial and residential customers - from weekly cleanings in high traffic commercial areas to spring and fall cleanings for windows at home, and everything in between. We can even clean just for a special event such as a wedding or open house,” says Terry Wilcoxson.

“We offer free estimates with no obligation and we guarantee our work. We have a great relationship with our customers,” says Terry. “They always seem happy to see the crew from Fish Window Cleaning coming to their business.”
